Tyson Breakfast Bread Bowls Are A Great Way To Start The Day! #TysonBreakfast

A typical morning in the Vilardi house starts with my 9-year-old coming in my room at 7:30 and saying, “What’s for breakfast?” I usually say, “I don’t know.” He then follows with, “Can you make something?” Seriously, every morning. “Make something” means he doesn’t want cereal, frozen waffles, leftover donuts, or Pop-tarts. Usually I groan, roll my eyes, and drag myself out of bed to make pancakes or some other hot food that he will approve of. Either that, or I remind him I made an enormous breakfast the day before and he will have to live with cereal. I end up feeling guilty because I know that the majority of cereal is packed with sugar and not the best way to start the day! Lots of sugar + no protein = “I’m hungry!” an hour later. This entire process just got a lot easier after hearing about Tyson Breakfast Bread Bowls! Each bowl has a whopping 11 grams of protein! Since I knew the breakfast bread bowls were so easy to make, I decided to make a fruit salad and fruit dip to go with. We bought watermelon, strawberries and fresh pineapple…fruit that our whole family loves. No fruit salad is complete without fruit dip! The fruit dip also added some dairy to our complete breakfast. The last food group to tie in was the vegetable group! My kids love V8 Splash which has added vitamins and carrot juice. Yum!
When we got home it was around 9:30pm so the kids went straight to bed. My 9-year-old actually didn’t put up a fight since he was looking forward to helping me cook in the morning! When my four youngest kids woke up, they couldn’t wait to help prepare breakfast! They were also looking forward to trying out the Tyson Breakfast Bread Bowls. I prepared the fruit while my kids made the fruit dip. Once it was ready, we popped the bread bowls into the microwave. Less than 5 minutes later, we had a complete breakfast!
