10 Features Of The iBitz Activity Monitor From Best Buy

It seems like the more technology there is, the less time my kids spend playing outside or running around. They will find a new app, tv show, computer game, or movie and end up sitting on a couch or chair all day. You can have your cake and eat it too with the iBitz PowerKey Activity Monitor! It combines being active with a fun app and computer game. You child’s steps are used to take care of their own personalized GeoBotz character. The more active they are, the better off their Geobotz character is! They can also unlock Club Penguin Coins, new content and more just by walking around! The best part? Parents can use their own iBitz Unity Activity Monitor to track their child’s activity, as well as their own, through the PowerKey app.

My 10-year-old and I tried out the iBitz monitors together. He clips it to his shoe and wears it all day. He loves tracking how far he’s walked on his iPod and tries to make sure he beats me each day! He already loved Club Penguin before he got the iBitz and was thrilled to hear that he could earn coins by walking around! I’ve never seen him so active! I don’t even have to remind him to turn off the TV or stop playing on the computer. He does it all on his own. I think the competitive side of him really helps. He loves a challenge and will do anything to be the best at whatever he decides to tackle. I’m just glad it’s something that is benefiting his health! I can’t wait to get a few more iBitz trackers for my other kids so we can all work together and stay active as a family!

What a great way to get kids moving and active. My granddaughter is four years old and if we let her, she will sit in front of the T.V. or play her Mobigo all day. We try to keep her as active as possible but with all of today’s fun gadgets and television it’s getting more difficult. Thank goodness for ingenious inventions like the iBitz

This is awesome and something I’d like for my sister and I since we have started walking and dieting. The kids here would like it too and they are active outdoor kids so would be fun for them as well
